I recently teamed up with Opal Stone, owner of Wild & Precious Boutique here in Grafton, WI. Together we have created a Pregnancy Loss Support group called Angel Mommas. Our mission is to gather together to honor our angel babies while healing and supporting one another. Together we, create items for the Joy Bomb care packages.

I found the following resources to be extremely helpful when I went through my miscarriage at 15 weeks.

Moms Mental Health Initiative

Their mission is to help moms navigate perinatal mood and anxiety disorders by sharing information, connecting them to resources, and providing peer-driven support. Offers a private online support group to women in the Milwaukee area.

March of Dimes

Provides guidance to miscarriage, coping and physical and emotional recovery. Resources on how to work through feelings about getting pregnant again or not.

Share Your Story

An online community to connect with other moms going through miscarriage.

Share Pregnancy & Infant Loss Support

The mission of Share Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support, Inc. is to serve those whose lives are touched by the tragic death of a baby through pregnancy loss, stillbirth, or in the first few months of life. Online support chats available

Offers counseling for anxiety and depression centered around pregnancy, including miscarriage and stillborn loss.

Eernisse Funeral Homes and Cremation Service

This funeral home was so amazing to work with when my baby passed away in utero. They work directly with local hospitals and will arrange a free cremation of your baby. They were so respectful, reliable and even allowed me to put together a little service and prayer page for the cremation. I couldn't recommend them more highly.

If their child passes away after 20 weeks gestation Life's Connection will help connect to area funeral homes and provide assistance during this difficult time.

 

If the child is lost before 20 weeks in pregnancy Life's Connection offers. Miscarriage Aids and Burial kits, services and burial for the baby and a sacred holding site at two locations that will hold the baby's remains until burial."

M.E.N.D. is here to provide hope and healing through your journey after the loss of your baby. They publish free bi-monthly magazines, hold commemorative ceremonies, and host a variety of support groups throughout the nation. M.E.N.D. is a place for families to connect, share their unique story of loss, and learn to live life without your precious baby.  They believe in breaking down the barriers associated with the isolation and sadness of pregnancy and infant loss as we strive to turn our children's lives into legacies.

Rose possesses a special interest in the treatment of mental health issues in women during their childbearing years, she is an advocate for identifying and treating women with pregnancy or postpartum depression/anxiety.

 

She specializes in miscarriage, stillbirth and infant loss as well as grief and loss.
